Santa Barbara Concrete & Masonry started in 2018 with a simple idea: Santa Barbara deserves a masonry contractor who actually understands the city. Not a company parachuting in from elsewhere, but a team that knows the difference between a Riviera hillside lot and a flat Mesa property - and what each one demands from the foundation up.

Santa Barbara is not like other cities. The Spanish Colonial Revival architecture that defines so many of its neighborhoods means stucco walls and clay tile roofs are the norm. A large share of the housing stock dates back to the 1920s through the 1950s. Older homes, active fault lines, coastal moisture, and clay-heavy soils all shape what good masonry work looks like here.

We built our business around those realities.
